Guidelines for Brands:

Here are the general guidelines for use of the following Prevention Beauty Award Seals
Brand Licensing Guidelines
ALL INTENDED USE REQUIRES APPROVAL
  • Prevention will only approve and release high-resolution seal artwork once guidelines are met and the appropriate agreements are in place.
  • A mockup of the promotional material is required when submitting your request for approval of seal use. Mockups must feature the correct FPO seal.
  • A description of intended seal use is required when uploading your mockup (where, when, and in what context seal will appear, plus estimated impressions or quantities, and if applicable, media spend).
  • For approval of mockups featuring FPO seal, please upload the final file featuring high-resolution artwork to WH
  • The approval process must be continued: a.) throughout the terms of the purchase agreement; b.) with any revisions to approved materials; and c.) on all new materials.

RESTRICTIONS APPLY
  • WH award seals may only be used with the award-winning product(s) in the winning shade or type.
  • The seal must be featured on or near the winning product.
  • If multiple products are shown, the seal must be clearly placed with the winning product so that consumers are not misled.

SEAL SPECS
  • All seals must include the year in which the award was won.
  • You may change the size of the seals at your discretion.
  • The seals cannot be translated in any other language. The English version can be used internationally.

SEAL EXPIRATION
  • Seals expire after three years from the time they are awarded. (Please note that licensing fees are paid on an annual basis.)
  • On the dates the WH seals expire, seal artwork is no longer available for licensing. If a seal's expiration date falls during a brand's one-year term, the brand may continue to use the seal until the term end date listed on the brand's Purchase Agreement.
